Launched in 2014 in partnership with Saatchi Gallery, START is a high profile platform for emerging artists and new art scenes from around the world with a strong balance of gallery presentations, solo artists and curatorial projects.
In a few short years the fair has quickly gained a strong critical reputation and is regarded by London’s collector set as the place to discover artists at the beginning of their careers. Over the course of its five editions, START has put itself on the map as a dynamic and vibrant art fair that successfully brings in the collectors who have made London one of the art world’s key hubs.

PRUDENTIAL MALAYSIAN EYE contemporary art exhibition opens in Kuala Lumpur, bringing together paintings, installation, sculpture and photography by 21 emerging Malaysian artists.
The exhibition is accompanied by “Prudential Malaysian Eye: Malaysian Contemporary Art”, a publication featuring the works of 75 contemporary Malaysian artists, edited by Serenella Ciclitira and published by SKIRA.
The 21 exhibiting artists were selected by a team of curators: Chang Tsong-Zung, director of Hanart TZ Gallery and guest professor at the China Art Academy, Serenella Ciclitira, founder of the Global Eye Programme; and Nigel Hurst, CEO of London’s Saatchi Gallery.
